FAQ
-
What is a NACH mandate?A NACH mandate is a standing instruction given by a customer to allow automatic recurring debits from their bank account (e.g., for loans, subscriptions, or utility payments).
-
What is the difference between stopping and canceling a mandate?Stop: Temporarily disables the mandate. Debits will not occur until reactivated. Cancel: Permanently terminates the mandate. A new mandate would be required for future payments.
-
When can I cancel my mandate? The mandate can be cancelled only when your loan account has been successfully closed and your mandate is still active.
-
Can I stop a mandate for a specific period?Yes, but only if the EMIs for that period are already prepaid and there are no pending dues in your loan account.
-
How can I cancel or stop my NACH mandate? You can submit a Mandate Cancellation/Stop Request Form online. Once verified, we will process your request and notify you by email or SMS.
-
Can I restart a mandate? If you have stopped a mandate, you may contact us to reactivate it. However, if it has been canceled, a new mandate would need to be registered.
-
How long does it take to process a cancellation request?Mandate cancellation typically takes 7–10 working days after we receive a valid and complete request. You will receive a confirmation via email and/or SMS once your mandate has been successfully canceled or stopped.
